Hi all! I'm gonna talk about Delifrance today!
Actually, this post consists of my two visits there, with different people by the way. The first was with my mom and sis. My entire family (with the exception of my father) adores delifrance. Heh we're just bread people!
The second visit was with my friend. When she said that she hasn't eaten at Delifrance before, I made up my mind to introduce her to Delifranceeeeeeeeee. Bread Is Good ;D
Well for the visit with my mom and sis, my mom had this baked potato with seawfood below. I do so love a good baked potato. The potato is thoroughly cooked, with the skin easy to peel. Plus Delifrance gives this bacon thingy, giving it a crunchy texture.
Well... We added a few bucks to get the soup. My advise? DON'T. The soup is just atrocious. Even my instant Campbell soup tastes nicer >:( Was just so watery and tasteless.
My sister actually had the baked potato with chicken. I don't know how come there isn't any picture of it :O but I know how it tastes still! Hahahha, it tasted just as good as the seafood one ;) In fact, my mom was commenting that the baked potatos at Delifrance tastes nicer than Wendy's.
My sister was like "of course la ma, you compare the price..."
Haha! Yeah true that. But of course if you're looking for Cheese, Wendy's cheesy potato wins hands down.
Okay the next few pictures are of my second visit. Because it was my friend's first visit, I thought we'd try the new sandwiches. The website says to try the "signature sandwich experience from France". HAH MY FOOT LA.
So this sandwich has this pretentious name of "Le Saint-Michel". Sigh, pretentious name to attract gullible suckers like yours truly -_-
Basically this piece of baguette has smoked salmon, this weird green knot thingy, and a wedge of lemon. THATS ALLLLLLLLLL. And to make it worse, the baguette was hard. My friend must be scarred for life :(
The below is the baked potato with seafood which tastes fine thank god.
Okay so remember, next time you do Delifrance, don't order the new sandwiches k! Stick with the old ones. Anw, I find the Delifrance website very irritating and lacking of information indeed. I mean... I'm confused which has the real food etc. The one at Toa Payoh sells pasta, baked rice etc, but the Raffles Place one doesn't. Why can't they just state it on their website!
Plus I heard that Delifrance has a buffet breakfast of croissants and pastries, but it isn't stated anywhere on the website. Anyone knows anything about this?
Gosh my eyes are closing already, hehe goodnight all.
